Vanessa is a Visual Artist and Art Educator with a MFA from Elam School of Fine Arts, Tamaki Makaurau. A finalist in major art awards, she has exhibited work globally and has works held in both private and public collections worldwide.
Vanessa Narbey explores visual perception in her semi-abstract art pieces with layering of pigment and lines creating veils of textured marks. A meditative quality to her mixed media work creates optical illusions, ambiguity and intrigue.
